Lisa Bennett is a Brand and Creative Consultant who partners with CEOs, CMOs and marketing directors to develop everything from brand positionings and identities to fully integrated brand campaigns.
Over the course of her career, Lisa has transformed agencies, created award-winning content, delivered revenue growth, mentored talent at all levels and built brands across a wide variety of categories. She has led the creative charge on some of the world’s most iconic brands including McDonald’s, Disney, Coca-Cola, Heinz Ketchup, Delta Airlines, Dell Technologies and The Clorox Company. She served as EVP/ECD at Leo Burnett, Chief Creative Officer and Managing Partner of DDB West and CCO for both TM Advertising and Laughlin Constable.
In addition to her extensive agency experience, Lisa was Vice President of Global Brand and Head of Dell Technologies’ in-house creative agency. In this role, Lisa had oversight to a digital-first global team of creatives, producers, editors, account managers, strategists and designers who produce thousands of pieces of content for Dell Technologies and Alienware annually. She managed a multi-million dollar budget, the agency operations team and the global brand team who have oversight to brand health, brand identity, brand guidelines and brand governance.
Prior to joining Dell, Lisa was Executive Director in the Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin. She was responsible for building, launching and overseeing day-to-day operations of The Lab, a collective of student agencies in the School of Advertising & Public Relations. Lisa attracted client sponsors such as Amazon, Dell Technologies, Molson Coors Beverage Company and e.l.f. Beauty to collaborate with students on integrated campaign projects with the goal of preparing them for careers in marketing.
Lisa was retained as a Brand and Creative Consultant by e.l.f. Cosmetics prior to IPO to develop their brand story and first-ever integrated brand campaign. In addition, she was hired as a consultant for Angie’s Popcorn where she led the development of the new creative strategy and brand campaign for BOOMCHICKAPOP. Lisa currently serves as fractional Chief Marketing Officer for Southwood Financial.
Lisa’s work has been recognized at top award shows with the highest honors including a Gold Cannes Lions, D&AD Yellow Pencil and induction into the Clio Awards Design Hall of Fame. She has been a speaker at numerous conferences such as SXSW and served on multiple international juries including Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, and Clio Awards. Advertising Age named Lisa one of 21 to Watch in the 21st Century and Business Insider named her one of the Most Creative Women in Advertising.
